JobCentral to Replace America’s Job Bank on July 1 |
(Helena) --- The Montana Department of Labor and Industry will replace its first national job board on the Internet, America’s Job Bank (AJB), with JobCentral, a web clearinghouse operated by Direct Employers, on July 1, 2007. JobCentral was selected by the National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA) to provide job seekers, employers and states a more cost-effective transition from America’s Job Bank. “Employers and job seekers will still continue to receive the no cost quality service they have come to expect of our local job service workforce centers and the jobs.mt.gov online labor exchange system,” said Labor Commissioner Keith Kelly.
