State Chairperson's Message

The Montana State Employers' Council is the employer voice to the Job Service Division of the Montana Department of Labor & Industry.  This website will provide a way for you to access information that may be helpful to your business.  I welcome you to explore the information and resources available to you through the Department of Labor & Industry, other state agencies and local Job Service Workforce Centers and Job Service Employer Committees - commonly known as JSECs. Our traditional role is as an advocate for improving the employment and training system.  Our volunteer members represent a cross-section of local business communities in partnership with local Job Service Workforce Centers and other community and business organizations.  We encourage alliances with other employer/business associations, such as the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and local Chambers of Commerce. I hope this website will assist you in obtaining easily accessible information and a forum to discuss issues of mutual concern.  The Montana State Employers' Council with its network of local JSECs is dedicated to ensuring an effective workforce development system.  In learning more about us, please consider becoming involved in the activities of your local JSEC committee.  I invite your comments and feedback on how we can better serve you.
