The Anaconda Job Service is the operator for programs under the Workforce Investment Act serving Deer Lodge, Powell and Granite Counties. If you are unemployed, or underemployed (making less than $9.90/hr) or relying on any type of public assistance (SNAP aka food stamps, or TANF) to get you through tough times, you may qualify for this program. Funding can help people upgrade their skills through classroom training, on the job training or assist in finding a job or a better job. Services can include career exploration, skills assessment, classroom or general occupational training.
