What is the Workforce
System?
The Bitterroot Valley Workforce System has been an informal partnership between programs, businesses, and organizations for years. The implementation of the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) motivated partners to formalize their relationships and look at ways to improve how services are provided in Ravalli County. This effort includes assessing gaps in services and looking at how to streamline employment and training in our community for more rapid and effective job placement. The ultimate goal of establishing this workforce system is to ensure a seamless system for all job seekers and business customers. |
