Our resource center has eight public access computers, and one handicap accessible computer.  These computers are available for employment related activities.

  • Workforce Investment Act Title 1 B ~ WIA Adult - for economically disadvantaged adults with specific barriers to employment
  • Dislocated Workers Assistance ~ WIA Dislocated- for those laid off when a business closes or has a significant lay off
  • Trade Adjustment Assistance/Trade Readjustment Allotment ~ TAA/TRA - for workers laid off due to foreign trade

We hold various workshops and trainings to cover your job seeking needs.   These include, but are not limited to, workshops on Resumes, Interviews, Applications, Win Way Resume Program Training, O*NET Interest Profiler training, O*NET Work Importance Locator Training, Successful Job Hunting, and others.  These informative workshops will lead you through the job seeking process, assisting you in choosing occupations, how to show you are qualified for the job, creating resumes and applications, marketing yourself, creating good impressions, acing the interview, follow-ups after the interview and job hunting blunders. These workshops are given periodically as needed and can be found on the Calendar of Events
