New Regional Director

Recently the Montana Department of Labor & Industry reorganized into regions to better address the workforce and business needs of specific areas and to align with similar regional partnerships.

Patricia Hulla is the Region 1 Director for Ravalli, Missoula, Mineral, Lake, Sanders, Flathead and Lincoln counties. She oversees Job Service offices in these counties, and with the local management teams will implement an initiative for Job Service emphasizing assessment of workers and career counseling, services to business, and use of labor market information and partnerships to identify emerging needs and develop a pipeline of workers to fill them.

After completing a Master’s Degree at Indiana University and a brief career as a Recreation Therapist, Patricia went to work for the Workforce Services Division of the Montana Department of Labor & Industry. In her 32 years there she has worked as an employment counselor, a dislocated worker specialist, and in management including supervision of business services. She has served on numerous community teams and task forces designed to promote workforce development and business growth in Montana.
