The
Job Service Employers' Councils of Montana are composed of employers
representing a cross section of the business community. These
employers volunteer to serve as advisors to the Montana Department
of Labor and as liaisons between the Montana Department of Labor (MTDOL)
and the employer community. Establishing these committees at
the local level allows specific needs of the community to be met.
HOW
DOES JSEC WORK?
Committee members’ work
directly with local Job Service management and staff
to help identify employment and information needs of the employer and
the labor force. Action in response to these needs is then designed
and initiated with outcomes addressed for effectiveness.
WHAT
ARE THE GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF MISSOULA JSEC?
Provide a means of formal communication
with Montana Department of Labor and Industry and the employer community.
Increase
awareness and effective use of the Montana Department of
Labor and Industry programs and services.
Improve capability of Montana Department of Labor and Industry to service
employers and applicants.
Design and implement
awareness programs to meet business and community needs. |
