Economic Development & Bank Loan Programs

RLF Revolving Loan Fund: Local loan funds loaned to a business. Typically requires a private sector match. 

Micro Micro-Business Loan Fund: Loans up to $35,000 to help with gap financing or to help people with credit and equity issues.

IRP Intermediary Re-lending Program: Loan program with a maximum amount of $150,000. Requires 1-1 private sector match. Program of the USDA and local development corporation. Loans are based on job creation.

CDBG Community Development Block Grant Loan: Loan Funds up to $400,000 based on job creation. Requires a 1-1 match from the private sector. Grant to a government entity to re-lend to a business at a lower interest rate.

Bank Conventional Commercial Loan 

SBA Small Business Administration Guarantee: 
Guarantees portion of a bank loan. Community Express Loan Program available through the Small Business Development Centers

MT BOI Montana Board of Investments Loan Incentive Programs: 
¨ Purchase federal guarantees for reduction in interest rates
¨ Participation with banks
¨ Value added loan program

USDA/RD Rural Development Guarantee
Guarantees portion of a bank loan.
