Relocation Information
Greetings from the Missoula Job Service!
Thank you for your interest in the Missoula area labor market. We have a wealth of resources available to assist you in your job search. When looking for work in our area we urge you to take advantage of our website, employmissoula.com. On this site you can search local, regional and state job listings as well as connect to local links of interest.
To receive referral information about the positions on our site, you will need to register with us. To do this, click on the Jobs.mt.gov box, review and accept the text, and then click on “Job Seekers sign up here.” Be sure to enter information under each tab, including at least one entry under “Employment” for your work history. If you do not have Internet access from your home, either your local employment center or public library may provide facilities for your use. You may also request a paper copy of our registration form by calling or writing to our office.
Some of the job listings on our website provide specific instructions on how to apply for that particular job; others require you to contact our office via email or phone. If you call us regarding a job you have seen on our website, please make sure to have the job order number (a 7 digit number next to the job title) available. If you choose to email be sure to include your full name and the job order number in your request.
You can browse labor market information for all of Montana at www.ourfactsyourfuture.mt.gov. To learn more about our state, visit www.mt.gov. You may also download a brochure entitled “Job & Career Resources: Web Sites.” It contains many Internet addresses that may help you with your job search.
We urge you to carefully read through these materials and target those areas of employment best suited to your skills, talents and career objectives. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
Good luck with your job search!
Sincerely,
Wolfgang Ametsbichler
Manager
