Where:  Miles Community College Centra

Information on the Event: Miles City Job Fair provides community members an opportunity to visit with employers about their employment opportunities. Participants can also get the inside scoop on resume development, interview tips, how to properly complete employment applications and how to make a good first impression. Over 40 employers from in and around Miles City participated last year and we are looking forward to more this year with increased advertising. High school students are welcome to attend to learn more about career opportunities open to them. Where: Carroll College PE Center, Helena, MT

Information on the Event: On behalf of our sponsors, we invite your business, organization, or graduate school program to participate in our Helena Area Spring Career Fair. We provide an excellent opportunity for you to showcase your business or program and to meet potential candidates from a large cross-section of job seekers. Attendees range from undergraduate students exploring graduate program options, or recent graduates of postsecondary programs looking for their first job, to community residents with varying work force experience seeking new career challenges.

This event will provide all participants with a productive afternoon of networking between employers, job seekers, students, school programs, and placement assistance services. You need not have current job openings to participate.

What:  Central Montana Career Fair

When:  Tuesday, April 8, 2008, 11:00 am to 5:00 pm

Where:  Fergus High School

Information on the Event: The fair will be attended by 10-12 areas schools, grades 9-12 with approximately 800 students and 250 adults involved. The fair will consist of 30-35 hands on exploratories, 30-50 community host, and other career related experiences for students. This career fair model has high school students from throughout the county visiting area businesses for an hour or two at a time and on rotation, rather than having employers come to the school auditorium.
